my favorite books of 2024 (so far)

since we're a little more than halfway through the year I did want to reflect and look back at all the books I've read so far and pick out my favorites!!! not an easy feat seeing as I've read over 55 books in 2024 so far. but here's my attempt at sorting out my favorites of the year, these five are books I'm pretty confident that will make the end of year favorites list.
