Best Yakitori in 3 different cities in 🇯🇵

Have been in Japan for 9 nights and have been eating yakitori every single night for either dinner or supper 😂

Can’t resist them!!

All these were ones that we chance upon while searching for “yakitori near by”

Here are the favorites in each city!

Osaka - Hakata Kushiyaki Battenyokato

They have a wide variety to choose from compared to some yakitori places. Skewers were really tasty too!! Not too salty but still flavorful. The marinated raw chicken was soooo good! You can’t taste that it is raw and there’s also a hint of sesame oil 🤤

Drinks here are also cheap, from 480yen onwards!

We had like 8 glasses to ourselves and even bought the staff drinks because they were really friendly and nice. So a total of 11 drinks and lots of skewers at only about SGD110 😲

Kyoto - Akiyoshi Kawaramachiten

Cheap skewers!! The prices shown are for 5 skewers!! We thought it was per stick but when we ordered 2 portion the person told us 1 order is 5 sticks. Super worth it!

Of course, it tastes good too!

Tokyo - Shimonya

A small cozy yakitori stall in Akihabara. Not much options but they were good! And cheap too! Lots of locals dine there so it should be good 😂 reason I like this is also because of the vibe from the shop. Doesn’t feel like a touristy place.

Out of the 3, the Osaka is the best!!😬
