Buffalo Chicken Pasta for weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:
1/2 onion
150 g penne pasta
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
700 grams chicken breast
60 grams reduced fat cheddar
3 oz fat free cream cheese
salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika to taste
Method:
Boil chicken:
- place chicken breast in pot with water and bring to a boil
- boil for 10-12 minutes
- remove from stove (check if chicken is cooked through)
- shred chicken and set aside
Pasta:
- boil pasta according to box
- drain and set aside
Combine:
- sauté onion and minced garlic until fragrant on medium heat
- add chicken broth and let simmer for two minutes
- stir in salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika
- add pasta and shredded chicken
- add buffalo sauce along with your cheddar cheese and cream cheese
- stir until combined
