Celebrating the life of my souldog🤍

My best friend of 12 years, Oreo Rose Rowlands, sadly passed away this october and i have been absolutely wrecked with heart ache over it.

I thought I would share some of my favorite photos of her in honor of how much joy she brought to my life ❤️

My all time favorite memory with Oreo rose has to be the day that I got her. I had been begging my parents for a dog for the longest time through many pleas, handwritten letters, strategically placed adverts for puppies for sale/adoption, and eventually a powerpoint presentation. On this day in particular, my mom had told me we were making a trip to a neighboring town to pick up some girl scouts materials as she was a troop leader. When we entered the house, my heart melted at all the little puppies in the room but i was still none the wiser to the actual reason we were there. My mom then told me that we were here to pick out my new best friend and I was ecstatic. Oreo was the very first puppy I picked up, she snuggled into my arms and immediately fell in love. She was coming home with us 🥰

She laid in my lap sleeping peacefully the entire way home and proceeded to be the best cuddle buddy i could ever ask for for the rest of our time together ❤️ She was the sweetest, sassiest, best dog I ever could’ve asked for. I love you forever Oreo Rose. Thank you for all of the incredible time we shared together ❤️ I can’t wait to see you at the rainbow bridge someday.
