COME HERE FOR YOUR NEXT CELEBRATION MEAL

i recently had my birthday dinner with my family at ohayo mamasan and it has become #MyGoTo place for feel good food, perfect for fun get-togethers when you’re feeling a little boujee ~

DEETS:

📍313 Somerset (super accessible, near the mall entrance on the first floor)

🍣 wide variety of menu options, great plating and presentation

🪩 really nice and warm ambience with live music, comfy seats, interior reminds me of arteastiq

THE FOOD: 🎏

we ordered the wagyu beef sliders ($20/4pc), kani salad nori tacos ($18/4pc), and mixed carpaccio ($16/5 slices) to start. i loved the tacos because i love crab stick and crab meat lah HAHAHA but the combination of the filling and the crispy taco shell rlly was chef’s kiss. the carpaccio was rlly good too and it consisted of different types of raw fish.

for sushi we got the forbidden love riceless sushi roll ($24) which was so good — had salmon, kani sticks and wasabi mayo. the wasabi mayo wasn’t too spicy,, tbh the wasabi at this restaurant is pretty mild if you don’t dip a lot !! we also ordered the boss salmon sushi party platter ($46) which was super yums.

THE DRINKS: 🍸

i rlly love their cocktails because they’re not too strong so it’s great for enjoying and the fruity flavours are quite prominent! they also have happy hour till 8pm.

our sips:

- kirin beer ($8)

- lychee saketini - lychee, gin and sake ($16)

- icy lavender cocktail - lavender, lemonade, mint, gin + spout straw made for an interesting drinking experience ($18)

- vampire daiquiri - strawberry, lemonade, rum + smokey bubble infused with mixed berries ($22)

THE DESSERTS: 🍧

we got ice cream for desserts!! they had interesting flavours like gingerbread, cotton candy and strawberry cheesecake.

we also got some ice cream mochis 💫on the house💫 too because i was celebrating my birthday.

overall the menu items are definitely on the pricier side so i would probably only come here for special occasions or friend gatherings. but this has definitely become my new favourite mid-ses sushi place!! 🏯
