Let’s Socialise at Social Place! 😋

Social Place is one of my go-to places for modern chinese cuisine!! I love the ambience of this place and it’s perfect for special occasions esp. family dinners!!! It gives off the vibes of atas Tze Char with special twist into their dishes. ☺️ They also do sell dim sum but i feel their dishes for sharing are more worth & delicious!

Their interior designs are super cool, their walls are made of mahjong tiles and their bowls have “ants” on it as a decoration!!

They have very cute dishes like mahjong jelly and pig pudding but we didn’t order them as we were too full!

Here’s what i would recommend after trying this place for several times:

1. Crispy Charcoal tofu ($9.80)

- Their fried shallots & garlic made this tofu extra cripsy!! Eat them hot 😉

2. Sweet & Sour Pork on Ice ($24.80)

- It gives off the cool feeling due to the ice but i love how all the ingredient (+ free fruits 😜) blend well together

3. Prawn Toast ($12.80)

- It’s truffle flavour!!!! Super in love with this dish because of the crisp and the dough isn’t really very thick, so you don’t feel like you’re eating a whole loaf of bread!!!

4. Eggs (Ain’t) That Simple ($22.80)

- A cute plate of Sichuan chilli stir fry chicken!! It wasn’t very spicy/numb, just nice for those who are not a spice taker!

5. Seafood Crackling Rice Soup ($24.80)

- We didn’t order this time but i love this!!! It feels abit like our usual Fish Soup rice from kopitiam auntie but Social Place’s Seafood Rice Soup has more fragrance and the seafood made the soup more flavourful.

Overall:

Food: 4.5/5!!!

Ambience: 5/5!! (Great for catch ups, family or business dinners)

Price: 3.5/5 (It’s pretty expensive so recommended for sharing)

Service: 5/5!!! (The waitresses are very attentive!)

I would recommend y’all to make a reservation especially during weekends as it’s always full/long waiting time for walk ins!
