3 reasons to do a newborn photoshoot 👼🏻

i just recently got the full collection of my newborn photoshoot that i did in March & they turned out great. i was giddy with excitement when i got them & thought i’d share them here & the reasons why i think you should totally go for a shoot when you have a kid! —

1. a gift to your child 🫶🏻

growing up, i was always kinda sad & envious of my sister that i didn’t have any newborn photos of myself unlike her. i hope to present these photos to my kid one day & hope that he’ll love and cherish them as much as i do.

2. a momento 🤲🏻

you’re never getting back the first moments of your baby once they’ve passed, so capturing them and storing them as photos serve as a great way to relieve those memories. it’ll be a beautiful reminder of how tiny & delicate my baby was during those early days. to me, it was a way to celebrate and remember this special milestone for me and my husband. after all, he is our first born! 🎉

3. personalised keepsakes 🎁

having a professional photoshoot done also means you can repurpose them and turn them into printed photographs/canvas as decor pieces for your house or use them for birth announcement cards (e.g. baby 100 days shower/full month party)

i did my shoot with @koji_photography & was very pleased with their service. they were professional & had a knack in making my baby feel comfortable throughout the shoot. he didn’t fuss at all and was asleep all the way. we were done in 2-3 hours!
