RECIPE: Chocolate Chip Italian Wedding Cookies

It is officially wedding season!! 💍 🍪

I made these cookies for a friend’s bridal shower and they were a hit!

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour (ok to substitute GF flour)

- 1/2 cup almond flour

- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)

- 1/3 cup powdered sugar + additional 1/2 cup for topping

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/4 tsp almond extract

- pinch of salt

- 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 325 F.

2. Add butter and powdered sugar to mixer and beat until combined.

3. Add almond flour, almond extract, vanilla extract and salt. Mix.

4. Add all-purpose flour. Mix.

5. Add in chocolate chips and hand-mix.

6. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

7. Scoop into balls 1-2 inches in diameter.

8. Bake for 18-20 minutes.

9. Let cool completely.

10. Coat in powdered sugar.

11. Enjoy.
