Having no friends is not so bad!

I used to have so many friends (at least to my standard). One day, I just woke up & realised that I have lost all of my friends in which I shared in this post. Naturally, my first reaction was grief, followed by acceptance & then it was gratefulness. While I'm sad that we're not friends anymore, I'm still thankful that we were once in each other's lives.

Now, as I hit the pivotal stage of adulting, I realise that life without friends is actually not so bad. I was already living a relatively 'friendless' lifestyle for a long while before I realised it & it was honestly truly liberating to be able to connect with myself more & be contented with doing things alone.

As an introverted homebody, I have been spending so much time by myself amongst my many hobbies, way before I lost all my friends overtime, got a partner & a cat. yes, I was one of those bizarre people who had no problem going through the entire circuit breaker period 😳😬.

& to be completely honest, I have saved so much energy, time and money from not having any friends. Of course, don't go around terminating all your friendships now! 🙅 Although, if you do have friends, it wouldn't hurt to start re-evaluating your friendships😬
