I painted my entire BTO home myself 😵

Disclaimer: I say ‘myself’ because I painted 80% of the home. My husband painted the remaining 20%. So, the majority deserves the trophy yes?

Now, let's talk about painting! Can anyone do this? Yes, you can too! Would I do it again? If I'm still on a budget, yes! But if I had money, I would no doubt hire a painter instead.

Choosing to paint my home had always been the most obvious decision to make in our situation. In a way, it makes my home feel more charming for all the work that I have put in to.

The best decision I feel that I have made was choosing to paint the ceilings as well. It creates such a vibe!✨ I love it. I've always found it odd when I see houses with a beautiful paint colour and suddenly there's a bright white ceiling. There's so much potential for more. Why stop there! We need to start normalising painting ceilings the same shade as the walls! Have you seen those darker shades painted from wall to ceiling?? Pls go google that because, what a mood! 😍

All in all, I love the colour we have chosen & how seamless it looks. Hopefully I won't get sick of it anytime soon! At least for another decade or so 😬
