HOW TO RETAIN CLIENTS: tips and tricks

✨Small Details✨

HAND WRITTEN NOTES- whenever I have a new client, I always make sure I write them a small letter to make it more personal! I also write my schedule down for easier access when they want to rebook :)

REMEMBER DETAILS- though I see many clients a week, I always try to remember a small detail about each client. This way, when they come in, I can say “oh how’s work at ____?” and their faces light up when they realize you remember!

ASK QUESTIONS- consultation is the most important part! It’s the first time they meet you and you want to show them that you really care for them! Ask how their skin is, what their skincare concerns are, or what they might’ve enjoyed or disliked from previous sessions with other previous practitioners.

✨WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT✨

BE RESPECTFUL- make sure you’re treating each of your clients with respect and maintaining professionalism. You can always crack light hearted jokes to make them laugh, as well as complimenting their skin, or maybe their outfit!

HAVE SYMPATHY- as service providers, clients can sometimes get personal when you’re pampering them because they feel SAFE! Always have an open mind and share the space with their emotions. Hear them out and praise them for how far they’ve come! You can also acknowledge their positive traits! This makes them feel seen and they’ll appreciate you so much!
