On days like today, when most people eat twice their daily calories, you really have three options if your goal is weight loss:
☺️ Option 1: Balance
Enjoy some of your favorites, but limit yourself to one plate and one dessert. If you have the time, get some movement in early in the morning or go for a walk after you all eat.
🫣 Option 2: Restrict
If you have a strict timeline for your goal, you can’t afford days like today. Have discipline, plan out what you will eat ahead of time, and track your calories.
😬 Option 3: Jump off the deep end
Forget the goals for a day and live your best life. Understand that tomorrow, the scale will be higher (mostly due to water retention), and you will feel sluggish. However, if you course correct from Tuesday to Sunday, all should be well.
