Failure & setbacks as a physician 🫶

Failure and setbacks is an inevitable part of being a physician- from moments when things don’t go as planned, from failed exams to difficult patient interactions. The most important things to realize is 1. This is UNIVERSAL and absolutely a part of growing and learning as a physician and 2. you MUST give yourself grace. There is no way you can provide care to others if you don't extend the same compassion to yourself. Stay humble, be willing to be wrong and learn- this will make you an excellent physician.
