💭celebrated a special family occasion and yes - we had Chinese food (again). This time round we tried out Shang Palace which earned a One Michelin-Star ⭐️ for its high quality food. ‘Nuff said, let’s get to the food

🙌🏻 Highlights:

Pao Fan 5/5 ⭐️

-lobster broth is super rich & flavorful. The crispy rice gave a crunchy texture, got the cereal feels

Twin Prawn Set 5/5 ⭐️

-can’t decide which flavor I liked better, the wasabi or salted egg. Both were equally good & flavors were strong but not overpowering. Prawn’s super fresh too

Almond Milk 5/5 ⭐️

-my entire fam loves this so much. I’m normally not a fan cos I dislike the medicine taste, but this tasted super light and hearty

because of this coveted Michelin star, I kinda was expecting mind-blowing dimsum & food but it was pretty mid tbh. I guess it’s pretty tough for dimsum to be amazing cos it always more or less the same to me 😅 But my parents enjoyed it so I guess that’s a win for me 🤷🏻‍♂️
