Tanpoi lighting in JB💡 worth the visit??

Previously we went for a 2D1N staycation in JB in august and the main purpose for our trip is to visit tampoi lighting center. 💡🫣

This shop was recommended by my colleague who purchase most of her lights here. Overall, we feel that it is worth a visit only if:

- you have your 3Ds renderings and lights discussion with your ID

- know exactly what lights you are looking for (downlights, pendant lights etc)

DO NOT make the same mistake like us!

We went there with the mindset to take a look, while we did find something which we like but the session isn’t as fruitful🙃

PROs:

1. Really affordable pricing !😳 we saw one pendant light which we like and it’s at RM288.

2. They provide shipping to Singapore. Shipment is by box so depends on how many boxes you will use.

3. Quite a decent selection

CONS:

1. We really dislike how we have to constantly look up on the ceilings lol. Our neck really hurts after the session.

2. Displays are random & messy. It’s quite difficult to find items among the mess.

3. Lack of sales person, we are not attended by any salesperson.

4. No photos allowed :( all these photos are taken secretly in one sec. 🫠

Will we visit a second time? YES, once we have a clearer idea of what we want. Will we buy from them? Probably if the price point + shipment cost ends up to be a really good deal.
