Smell clean during your period

It is no secret that with your period comes an odor, whether you experience this odor strongly or not I am sure you would prefer not to. I have learned that most of the time period odor is normal yet there are ways we can decrease and even help our bodies while we do it. This is how I do it.

1. Make sure you are staying hydrated and drinking enough liquids during your period. If you are dehydrated your pee can be adding to your period odor.

2. With the levels of our hormones changing during our periods there can be an imbalance of the PH level in your vagina causing an imbalance of bacteria and the odor. I like to have probiotics in my foods like in yogurt, kefir, or even kimchi.

3. The obvious is to not forget to wash that area on the daily. You do not need to use harsh soap or anything like that but make sure you are washing it at least once a day.
