It took me 4 hours to take it out 🙃

Have you ever spent 4 hours trying to remove something from your vagina... Well that was me yesterday, I tried out menstrual cup for the first time because I heard great things about it and how it feels like nothing when you use it so I bought mine from the Freedom Cup and it's the Mini version.

When I had to insert it up myself, I just had to do a simple fold to kind of compress the menstrual cup so that it's smaller and it can slide into me easily. That was not much of an issue and I went about my day as per usual and it was so comfortable and I almost forgot about it...

When it was time to remove, that's when I hit a wall, I tried tk locate the freedom cup but I couldn't find it and it got me panicking which is the worst mistake you can make because you need to relax in order to remove the menstrual cup so it took me a while to compose myself and start digging again which was such a strange experience and I finally managed to grab hold of the base but it kept slipping and I just could not pinch it to slowly remove it from me.

This experience got me sweating on the toilet bowl cos I was so afraid I would have to go to the hospital to remove it... I finally decided to whip out my phone and Google ways to easily remove menstrual cup and I was frantically texting my friends as well everybody just told me to relax so that I will be able to get a better grip on it and lower it...

To lower it, you have to use your muscles like you would if you had to take a dump in order to shift the freedom cup downwards and I tried doing that for the last 4 hours and the reason why it took so long was because I just couldn't get a group and I was panicking but when I finally got the hang of it and I got the grip, taking it out of my body it was also a very strange experience but my goodness the relief I felt when it was finally out of my body I was so happy and I honestly wasn't sure if I was ready to put it back in again for my current period cycle so I'm taking a break LOL

I have to say when it was inside, it really felt like nothing and it was so comfortable so I would definitely try it again but I think I'm thinking a short break for now and I will resume during my next period cycle.

Let me know if you have any tips on using menstrual cups because I really want to transition to them but I don't know how to make it anymore comfortable...
