Is this the best Chinese food?

My partner and I were at Suntec City the other day, and he was craving this mala fish place. I think he's low-key training me for a potential trip to China at the end of the year.

So far, his recommendations have been on point, except for this one. He ordered:

1. Spicy Seabass - 8/10 The portion was huge for 2 pax, but it was lacking the kick from the chili. I'm not too sure if my partner had asked for less spicy, but it was not satisfying for me. However, you'll get to enjoy the flavor of the fish and broth without crying in pain.

2. Stir-fry Chicken - 10/10 Huge portion and this was addictive! The chicken bits were crispy and well-seasoned. I noticed they didn't use a lot of MSG as my mouth didn't feel dry after eating.

3. Giant Lemon Tea - 11/10 Slaps. Goes well with the dishes and very refreshing. It's not too sweet nor diluted. A MUST order!

4. Rice - 10/10 I don't know if they use special rice, or I've been carb-deprived, but their rice is very fragrant and goes well with the dishes ordered. The rice portion is a little smaller than most places.

They also provide complimentary snacks and ice cream! Overall, their staff are all super attentive and friendly, and the service was fast, and despite the food not being spicy enough for me, I did enjoy my dinner.
