best apps for tracking period + cycles

Cycle syncing is becoming increasingly popular in the media and I love that more women are getting in tune with their relationship with their body.

Stardust - gorgeous UI, you can share your period with a loved one so they know where you are in your cycle (great for relationship building), can track moods, birth control, and lots of other symptoms. Their period predictor is very accurate and I adore their whole app!

Aavia - a super fun app that has a heavy emphasis on the community. They have licensed professionals who write in their community tab and answer your questions whether it’s about period or relationships!

Apple Health - a great option for those who don’t want to install anything. has limited functionality (no notifications for period starting), hidden within the health app which makes me forget about it sometimes, and has a clean UI. I love that it pairs well with the Apple Watch.
