I wanted to stop biting my nails after being 💍

Since young, I had the habit of biting my nails or peeling my nail skin, esp when I feel anxious or nervous eg. Over an exam etc. So, bc of this, I alw had short nails or my fingers will be bleeding bc of my peeled skin… 🥺😭 and also bc of this, I’ve alw been insecure about how my hands look but I just can’t get rid of this bad habit over the years 🥵

I rarely do manicure bc I just felt that my hands alr look so ugly so I thought doing manicure won’t help it look prettier… plus I was afraid of biting the nail polish since I had the habit of biting my nails 😵‍💫

But after getting proposed and engaged, I became more determined than ever to stop my bad habit of biting my nails and peeling my fingers and make my hands look pretty ✨ —> which is why I decided to try a manicure makeover and I’m v happy with the results!

Price: the one I did was Classic Gel Mani with Design which is worth $68 which is p affordable for the holistic experience that you will get! 💅😍

The place & service: As you can see in the 4th picture, the place looks cosy and brightly lit, it was my first time there and I was able to sit down and have my manicure done comfortably with the nail technician.

For those of you who are interested, my nail technical is called Wan Xuan and she’s rly friendly, nice and meticulous! The nails on my pinky and ring finger on both hands were too short bc I bite my nails previously so she put extensions on them so that the nail polish chemicals will not touch or be in direct contact on my skin. She also ensured that the extensions were not too long bc she knows I want them to be simple and short! 🫶✨

She also gave me a lot of advice on how to care for my nails and hands esp aft I told her about my bad habits:’) and she applied a serum on my fingers after the manicure which will help strengthen my nails and make them grow more healthily 🥹

They REALLY DO NOT hard sell at all and will only give you the customised service that you truly need ☺️

It’s been almost a week since I did my manicure and the results still look v good 🥺❤️ and I was worried about biting my nails after manicure but this is not true; instead, I am no longer biting my nails bc I will see my pretty nails and stop myself LOL 🤪🤪
