one bag to rule the carry-on life ✈️

so you probably like to travel, have miles saved up for big trips, but still wanna travel to nearer places on a budget, and all’s fine and dandy until you realize that your budget airline charges a PREMIUM for luggage 😗

ok la, I’m not a big shopper, so this would probably only appeal to the people who travel for food and experiences ✨

when you wanna save on flights, the first thing I cut is my luggage, and I found the perfect (on sale!!!) backpack for all my rugged adventures.

I also spent too time researching on bags for my own good, but if you’re like me….. chronically injured AND broke….. you better get something that’ll go the distance.

SO, let’s get down to it. 3 MAIN things I looked for in a carry-on bag pack:

1. LOAD lifters - boy, if you have a problematic spine like me, these features are a MUST!! these bring your pack close to your back so that your shoulders are stacked and aren’t compressed at the wrong angle.

2. hips don’t lie, and neither does a hip belt - another feature to take the weight OFF your back. So important for people who are also not looking for your upper back to bear 10kg of weight traversing around the world.

3. U/J shaped openings - ok la, your girl spoilt can, want to backpack but need to reach for stuff at the bottom, so don’t make life hard for yourself 😂

some other good-to-have (that this Topo Design 28L Mountain Pack has too!!):

1. SPACIOUS bottle pockets - cos everyone has an emotional support water bottle or two nowadays, and we gotta stay hydrated 💦

2. 15” laptop? No problem! - dedicated padded space for this, and also a separate pocket just for documents ☺️

3. Able to withstand 24kg of weight when fully packed??? YES PLEASE. - but let’s be real, budget airline max 10kg heh, so this is just a nice to have.
