Good evening ๐Ÿ‹8๏ธโƒฃ residents,

I dedicate this post to students who are aiming to study abroad! Do you have what it takes to survive here? These tips might be useful for you ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

1) Make studying fun

When youโ€™re studying abroad, most of the time you have to study things that you never really thought about before. For instance my university requires me to study Japan history, geography and politics. It differs based on which country you want to go, so making studying fun is one of the skills that you can hone at early stage!

2) Donโ€™t be afraid to go to hospitals

Itโ€™s never a good idea to postpone your hospital visits because of classes or part-time job. Always make time for hospital visits if you have physical or mental problems! Itโ€™s rarely talked about because I think most students who study abroad want to look cool but actually some of us do reach breaking point. But thatโ€™s not the problem; not seeking proper help is the problem.

3) Stop buying new clothes!

This is for me specifically LOL stop buying new clothes every time the season changes๐Ÿ˜‚ Buy high-quality clothes and wear it for at least 3 years period. Use your money to elevate your learning; buy books, repair your laptop, get a new headphones for online classes etc. Use your money to do self-care like going to salon and medication. Getting a haircut is so expensive here, and haircare is so complicated due to the changing seasons.

These tips come from firsthand experience studying abroad!

Do you have a dream university you want to go?๐Ÿ˜
