Some people asked me how do I manage to apply for Japan for my master? It's a long and difficult process if you apply by yourself. But it's all worth it once you set your mind into it.

I started with surveying the universities available for my course and their language of instruction. Once I found my university, I contacted my preferred supervisor to guide me on my Master Thesis. You have to prepare your research proposal in advance to impress your supervisor and made him agree to be your supervisor in the university once you're accepted.

For Keio University, after my supervisor read my paper, he called me for an interview and then he decide whether or not to accept me. Once he agree, I applied for the university when the application period is open.

Applying to Japanese University is a difficult and long process so you need to be patient all the time. It took me 2-3 months to know my result and another set of 1-2 months for my COE and VISA approval. For Malaysian you don't have to pay for student visa - YEY!
