SAVE YOUR WALLET & FOOD: MONO FOODS HAUL

I have been stumbling across many people sharing their mono foods haul so I knew I had to check it out too!

For those who haven’t heard of Mono Foods before, they are redistributing surplus stocks from suppliers at a super low price. You grab a cardboard box at the entrance, fill it up with all the snacks & goodies, and make payment according to the price labelled on the box!

They have a great variety of snacks, drinks, noodles and more! One thing to note is many items have a purchase limit on them — so you can only buy 1 per box, and can’t get more even if you want to. But it’s a great way to try all the different food there! Trying all the different food was quite an interesting experience for me since many of the items sold there are things I wouldn’t have bought on a regular day.

The volunteer auntie on duty that day was teaching me to build “walls” around the box so I can put more things in the middle😂 because the check at the cashier is to give the box a shake, and everything that stays in the box is yours for the price.

The day I visited, they also had a separate promo for instant noodles — 5 for $2. What a steal!! 🤑
