Ingredients ✨
🍅 10-15 tomatoes
🌿1/2 cup fresh basil
🧄 4-5 cloves garlic
✨3-4 tbsp olive oil
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
Prep: Quarter tomatoes (doesn’t have to be small), chop garlic, roughly chop basil. This all gets blended later so it’s okay to be roughly cut 😊
1. Heat olive oil on medium high heat, add garlic and stir 30s-1min until fragrant
2. Add tomatoes, basil, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Stir.
3. Cover, and continue to stir every few minutes. Bring heat down after maybe 5min or so to a low simmer, cover and cook 20min until tomatoes break down very easily.
4. Blend all ingredients
