Chapter 9

V. 13-14 shows why we're so happy with our garbage sin. To add on to what I said yesterday, us foolish humans hold onto our dirty sins because Satan gave us lenses (of sorts) that make sin look good, like treasure. Folly says, "stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant." Foolishness makes sin seem good! It entices us to love something that is ugly. But when God enters a sinner's life, He takes Satan's lenses and smashes them under His heel so that we can see that our "treasure" was really just junk and garbage. Once we see what our "treasure" really is, God replaces it with gold and silver, wisdom and faith! Thank You, God!!!
