Healing My Inner Child One Book At A Time

Growing up, I had all the Goosebumps books. I got most of them at the Scholastic Book Fair. Did you have any Goosebumps? And more importantly, did you love the book fair?? It was the best!

Goosebumps were my absolute favorite books (besides Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) and the books that made me love reading. I mostly read thrillers and mysteries and Goosebumps definitely influenced that. I spent hours and hours reading them and saved my allowance to be able to get more. They are a part of my happy memories. A few years ago, I started thrifting Goosebumps to make little me happy. When I saw the Creepers books at @dollartree I knew I needed to grab them and add them to my growing Goosebumps collection. They have the same vibe, same raised title, and the creepy cover image. They did come out in the 90s so I feel like they compliment Goosebumps well. They're just a fun addition to my creepy decor.

I don't have my whole Goosebumps collection reestablished yet but it is fun finding them at thrift stores. It's fun to hunt for something and also make my inner child happy. What's something you can do to make your inner child happy?
