Apps that i used while in Korea 🇰🇷

Just got back from Korea so i decided to share with everyone here, some of the apps that i have used...😜

1️⃣ Naver Map

If you are unaware, South Korea is one of the countries where Google Map does not function, so this app has been extremely useful for me both before and during my trip there! Before going to Korea, we tried using Google Map to plan our trip, and while it does provide a result, it is undoubtedly not an accurate one!🥹 I therefore recommend that everyone download Naver Map before travelling to Korea. With this app, I was able to save locations of all the places I had already planned to visit before the trip, and while I was in Korea, it was able to filter out restaurants close by, which is incredibly useful when i'm in a new place🫶🏻

2️⃣ Seoul Subway

This is the official Seoul Subway app for tourists. Without a doubt, this was my best friend while in Korea as i have to open it everyday to plan my journey. This app was able to help you easily search for the subway station that you wanted as my friends and I were always having a hard time finding subway stay in from the complicated map.😅 One of the features inside that I loved was that it was able to plan and give you the best and recommended way to go to your destination with the departure and arrivals station route information which saved me time and not having to switch between apps to do this.

3️⃣ Kakao T

This is the only app I've used in Korea to hail a taxi. It is actually very convenient for me as i can pay in cash or using the T-Money card, and the location is very accurate. I have only flagged a Taxi once while in Korea, but I still believe that using the app would be easier because the fare is already fixed and it's easier for me to check if the location i have keyed in is correct

4️⃣ KakaoTalk

I downloaded this app because I need it to book a personal color analysis appointment, and Koreans typically use it so with this it's easier to communicate with them and book appointments
