Weekend Trip Ideas: Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon was just as amazing as I thought it would be! 🧡 Located in Page AZ, a Navajo tour guide takes you on a 10 minute shuttle through the desert to the canyons. You can either visit the Upper or Lower Canyons for two different experiences! The canyons were carved by water over time and still occasionally experience flash flooding! This is why you must sign up for a guided tour for safety and preservation of the Navajo reservation. The best time of day to visit is 11am, which is the time we chose. The reason they suggest this time is because you get the best light beams! Photographers and tourists come from all over the world to visit, but my favorite thing about the tour we chose is that our guide actually teaches you how to adjust your camera for the best shots. It was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend a visit!
