lesser-known gems near the grand canyon

The Grand Canyon is of course a destination in and of itself, but there are so many beautiful spots nearby that you will regret missing if you're in the area!

I'm a bit of a desert rat myself, and the red rocks and rolling canyons of this area leave me breathless every time.

Antelope Canyon is a part of Navajo lands and can only be accessed via tour, but it is well worth the price to walk through these unique twisting canyons. It will feel like you are on a different planet and is great for photographers!

Horseshoe Bend is fairly social media famous at this point, but it is one of the absolute most stunning sunsets I have ever seen in my life and I think everyone needs to brave the crowds to see it! Just get there early and grab a spot to enjoy.
