Goooood morning Lemon8! 🍋

I love being a nurse and working in neurotrauma specifically but I don’t always love it so I thought I’d make today a little better by documenting the morning.

I usually start off my shifts by getting my assignments and listening to big report, where the off going charge nurse gives us the major updates from the previous shift. We move into bedside report after. Have a pretty heavy combo of patients today. We usually run 3:1 ratios.

After report, I do my assessments and start sorting out my med passes. I ended up getting behind because my patient needed a straight cath and a bath which ended up taking forever.

Just working on charting and passing meds the rest of the day!
