books that will make you feel less alone

A lot of my favorite books tend to revolve around grief. I have not lost many people in my life, but I think writing about grief is one of the most effective ways to write about the human condition. I love to be moved and urged to feel Big Feelings, and all of these books do that for me. Some are melodramatic, and some are even a bit funny, and I think that’s beautiful. It proves that there truly is no right way to grieve.
