🇻🇳 Avoid Sapa Centre! Book a Mountain View AirBnB 🤩

Hello 🍋! I’m back with another post on my Vietnam trip! This is something which I’m very EXCITED to share about because the accommodation DID NOT disappoint! 😎

📍 Location: Ta Van Village

If you’re planning to go to Sapa and want to take some time off the busy streets and places, book a homestay instead of the hotels or other access near the Sapa Centre! Trust me, the views are truly breathtaking!!

I recently booked an Airbnb nestled in the mountains, just a 20-minute car ride from Sapa Centre 😝 The host offers various room options catering to different group sizes. But make sure to secure your booking early, as rooms tend to fill up quickly! 😮‍💨

⛅️ It has a balcony overlooking the mountains and clouds! Super chill!

🍜 Provides breakfast! Our breakfast was chicken noodles! It was super bussing!! & they have a dining area overlooking the mountains as seen in the picture 🥹

🚿 I personally find the water to turn cold after turning the shower tap for a while 🥺 Otherwise, it’s all good! It comes with a bathtub I didn’t manage to use cuz I had no time LOL 😪

🛌 It has a 🦟 mosquito 🦟 net on the bed so you don’t have to worry about getting bites in the middle of the night! The room is very clean and the hosts are very welcoming and helpful! 🥹

They allowed us to stay at their own home when we arrived earlier than check out time and charged us a small fee of $8 iirc! It comes with a bathroom and clean beds!!

🚗 They provide a range of services such as laundry, lunch/ dinner, transportation, etc! The host will get in touch with you upon confirmation of your accommodation and send you a price list of their services if you need it! 🤩

Getting transportation in Sapa is extremely difficult. Although there’s Grab available, we couldn’t get any riders 100% of the time 😥 We had to rely on getting riders from restaurants/ AirBnB to book for us or negotiate with other Taxis around Sapa Centre. One trip cost less than $14 to Sapa centre for a 5 seater car!

🚪 The AirBnB will lock the main gate around 1030pm. If you are coming back late, you’d need to drop them a text so they will leave the gate open for you. The riders will usually drop you further from the AirBnB because the road to the gate is narrow so you’d need to walk a bit to your AirBnB!

It gets dark at night and there are stray dogs who will back and follow you! Don’t run, just walk normally! There are barely any street lights as well 🥲

Overall, I would 10/10 book the accommodation again! I really enjoyed myself there and I love the scenery a lot! If you’re looking to do trekking around Sapa, this might be the perfect location for you to get around too! 🤩
