🇯🇵Snack through Hokkaido with us (Part 1)

We love snacking in general but snacking in Hokkaido (or Japan in general) is extra special because quality is generally very good! Hokkaido is also well known for their dairy products, potatoes, melons (in season for summer), seafood - among many other things - which translates well to our favourite guilty pleasures like potato chips, ice creams, chocolate, anything cheese. We hope sharing our experience can help you strategize your calorie intake for maximum satisfaction while in Hokkaido!

For once we also managed to write all our descriptions in the photos itself 😅 except for 4 small notes:

SUPERMARKET CHIPS - are generally available in supermarkets (like Aeon) and NOT the convenience stores/ konbini

KINOTOYA - the outlet in New Chitose Airport consistently has long queues, but when we passed the one in Pole Town (close to Tanukikoji, Sapporo TV Tower), there were barely any queue KINOTOYA BAKE Pole Town store

LAVENDER SOFT SERVE - is always magically good in all the flower farms we have eaten it in, so please get it if not in Tomita, then in Shikisai-no-oka when you are in Hokkaido. Closer to Tokyo, the one in Oshino Hakkai in Kawaguchiko and the one in Ashikaga Flower Park taste similarly good too

THE MILK IN BIEI FARM - honestly tasted mid, but just get it if you do go there for the full experience
