Trying egg coffee for the first time - LOVED IT

🫠🇻🇳 words can’t explain how much I enjoy Vietnamese cuisine… but I can share with y’all this hidden gem in Hoi An old town.

📍DUDU CAFE, HOI AN

- located near the fabric market, near the intersection

- very easily missed (I walked past thrice and didn’t notice it)

🥚 ☕️ sounds weird, but trust me it’s delicious! The coffee is rich and bold, topped with a whipped egg yolk that adds a creamy, slightly sweet flavour. It tastes kinda like sweet corn, but with a little saltiness. Maybe also like a creme brûlée! I was kinda skeptical first but now I’m hooked and absolutely disappointed that I’ll never get to have this drink again…

If you’re in Hoi An, this is a local specialty you have to try! The cozy cafe atmosphere makes it great for relaxing and beating the heat (although there is no AC anywhere hahah) 🥹
