You have to get Einspanner in Korea 😍 (From $3)

One thing I really LOOOVED about Korea is that there’s coffee everywhere!!! I’m not just talking about cafes, there are so many kiosks around to grab and go, especially when I’m rushing in the morning but need my daily dose of coffee! What’s more, prices start from $3 for a quality cup of iced latte 😍😍😍

I drank coffee almost every day in Korea, and here is my verdict of the different ones I drank (there were even more I drank which were not pictured):

☕️ MEGA COFFEE

This was almost everywhere in Korea!! I think I paid less than $3 for an iced americano; the coffee was pretty meh but it’s so worth for the price ~ Also, it can be found literally everywhere so bonus for convenience 👍🏼 They have pretty unique drinks as well, such as the unicorn frappe which looks very pretty but I didn’t get to try it

☕️ MAMMOTH COFFEE

I didn’t see many outlets for this chain, but happened to get it because it was near my hotel ~ Prices, again, are super affordable and the variety of drinks available is super extensive!! They even have dalgona coffee, dolce latte, amidst many others~ I found my favourite coffee here, the Einspanner!!! Have been drinking einspanner in Korea every other day since 👀

☕️ SLOTH COFFEE

This was SO SO GOOD. I think I paid around $4.5 for an iced einspanner; the coffee was rly fragrant and complemented the cream sooo well ~ I think this would’ve costed like $9 in SG 🥲

☕️ UPSIDE COFFEE

I think this would’ve been my fav coffee place if not for the price :””-) I paid around $7 (which to me, in KR, is considered expensive 👀) for a rly small cup. However, I really loved the strong taste of the coffee and they were quite generous with the cream too!! The cute design was a bonus 🫣

☕️ BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE

I think this cafe is pretty famous in Korea so we went to get it ~ I don’t really get the hype though, I felt that my iced latte tasted pretty normal — it was good, but I didn’t see anything special :-( I would recommend getting the mocha though;; it is very dark and chocolate (not the usual sweet ones) which I quite liked!

Overall, I would say just stick to getting coffee from the coffee kiosks such as Paik’s Coffee, Mega Coffee & Mammoth and others because they are actually pretty good and so so affordable!! One of my fav things about Korea is its coffee 😭😭
