DIY Alphabet Crayons

Do you have some old crayons that are broken or in rough shape? Here is the best way to recycle and repurpose them!

❤️ Grab a silicone alphabet mold. I got mine for about $10 off of Amazon.

🔤 Soak your crayons in warm water. This loosens the paper around it

🤍 Peel off the wrappers on your crayons. Break them into small pieces.

❤️ Fill the alphabet mold with pieces of little crayons. I recommend using similar colors together.

🔤 Bake them at 250 degrees for 3-5 minutes, just until they are all melted together. Don’t bake them too long!

🤍 Remove from oven and let them cool. Once cool, pop them right out and you have alphabet crayons to use! 🖍️

My four year old and I had so much fun making these. I love that it’s a multi-step project which encouraged him to focus and think of the order of steps to do something.
