Why would you choose between brownies and matcha burnt cheesecake when you could have both at the same time? This recipe is perfect for special occasion like celebrating birthdays our beloved person as we bake it ourselves with full of loves and you could not find this dessert in any cafes.
Ingredients:
Brownies base:
72g brown butter
50g brown sugar
50g white sugar
1 eggs
1tsp vanilla essence
1/8 tsp salt
40g cocoa powder
33g all purpose flour
a splash of milk
Cheesecake batter:
320g cream cheese
90g castor sugar
3 eggs
1tsp vanilla essence
200g heavy cream
15g cake flour
15g matcha powder
Steps:
1. Melt 72g butter until it turns into brown colour. Set that aside until cool
2. In a bowl mix brown butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence till well combined
3. Then, add cocoa powder and flour and fold it in with spatula just until combine.
4. In 6 inch pan, pour the brownies batter.
5. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 mins
6. While waiting, in a mixing bowl, add cream cheese and whisk it untill fluffy
7. Add in sugar and mix till combine. Add in eggs and vanilla essence and whisk until well cooperated
8. Pour in the heavy cream and add the flour & matcha powder , then mix it in.
9. When the brownies is cool, pour the cheesecake batter in the pan.
10. Make sure to tap it to loose up the air bubbles.
11. Bake at 220 degrees at 30-35 mins
12. Let it cool down in room temperature for 2 hours and continue chilling in fridge over
