Games that groom(smen) ACTUALLY ENJOYED

👰🏻‍♀️ Bridal Diaries 👰🏻‍♀️

Hello!

Been enjoying the bridal diaries, such a nice time reminiscing the special day 😌

My bridesmaids planned the gatecrash activities!

Anything goes, as long as

1. Groom & groomsmen don’t sweat

2. Groom & groomsmen don’t end up running to the toilet after eating any activity food (ie too spicy)

3. Groom & groomsmen’s looks aren’t affected (ie hair not messed up)

To resolve the no sweat criteria, we decided to hold the activities in the house with aircon. The limited space also meant no running activities and stuff haha.

Here’s what the BMs came up with!

🦵🏼 WAX OFF 🦵🏼

🪵 Logs

Wax strips, marker to draw on wax strip

⛳️ Instructions

Before Groom & GMs could enter the house, Groom had to paste wax strips on each GM’s leg.

🌪️ The twist

Each strip was a part of a puzzle for them to solve in part 2!

👰🏻‍♀️ WHICH IS THE BRIDE 👰🏻‍♀️

🪵 Logs

Paper, scissors

⛳️ Instructions

• Bride & BMs took a selfie individually and printed it on an A4 paper

• BMs cut out the brows, eyes, nose, mouth and scramble them

• Groom & Groomsmen had to figure out which face parts belong to Bride and piece them together!

🌪️ The twist

Bride & BMs took very ugly selfies like lifted eyebrows, uneven eyes, muahaha

🪢 Punishment

We knew Groom & GMs wouldn’t be able to solve the puzzle cos Bride & BMs couldn’t solve it ourselves hahaha, our ugly selfie faces were too unrecognisable!

The ‘punishment’ for Groom & GMs was actually the 3rd activity, which helped the whole programme flow super smoothly

🍪 OREO DIP 🍪

🪵 Logs

Big board, 6 cups, oreos, ingredients for flavours

🥃 Flavors

Vinegar, thousand island sauce, bittergout & celery juice, wasabi with soy sauce, ketchup with chilli padi

Yes i remember the condition that the Groom & GMs cannot run toilet, continue reading first!

⛳️ Instructions

• Groom & GMs had 3 oreos each

• BMs to hold up the board at an angle with the 6 cups lined up at the bottom

• Groom & GMs to take turns letting go of the oreo at the top of the board and let it roll into the cups

• Groom & GMs have to eat the oreo that has been dipped into the cup it lands in (ketchup covered oreo hmm)

🌪️ The twist

• Each cup can only receive 1 oreo so Groom & GMs have to decide who takes which flavour!

• Groom or 1 GM to drink the celery juice at the end

Yeah so because the chilli/wasabi was more of a dip, none of them ran toilet phew

🦵🏼 WAX OFF 🦵🏼

It was time to take off the wax strips!

⛳️ Instructions

• Groom would peel off GM’s wax strips

• Groom & GMs then have to piece together the wax strips and solve the puzzle (it was a scrambled picture of a key, symbolising now Groom has the key to enter Bride’s room)

📱 Bride tuned in to the fun via video call in the room haha. Remember to assign someone to hold the phone for the video call throughout the gatecrash!

And that was it! A fairly simple and not too logs heavy gatecrash hehe.
