Hello again!

We envisioned our dinner to be one that’s engaging and full of laughter. We wanted our guests to be active participants during the games instead of sitting and watching, iygwim!

🎯 We wanted to show our guests our love story but through drawings!

📝 Game rules

• We linked up an online free text poll and whiteboard onto the screen

• Emcees would ask us a question related to our r/s eg “favorite date spot”

• We’ll have to draw our answer on the whiteboard

• Guests will key in their answers which can also be seen on the split screen

•We drew with our non-dominant hand

• Or we take 1sec turns to draw part of the same picture together

🃏 The penalty

When our guests didn’t guess correctly, we get the penalty! We ate papaya, something we both hate eating haha

It’s a fun and drawful way for our guests to get to know our relationship story better 😄

🎯 We wanted our guests to get to know us better but not just passively listening haha.

📝 Game play

• Everyone starts standing up

• Emcee says a fun fact about us eg “he was in boys’ brigade” “she loves gong cha” “they have never been to New Zealand”

• If the guest has ever been in bb before, or also loves gong cha, or has never been to NZ before too, they will have to sit down.

• And the last man standing won a prize!

This way, our guests got to know us better! 😁

Wish we had more time to engage our guests in games but our schedule was super tight. Nonetheless, we heard from many guests that one of the most memorable moments during the wedding was the games and they appreciated how it was more “hands on” for them than other conventional wedding games. Yay!
