Our Disney Trip After Hurricane Helene

We planned and finished paying for our trip in August. Before we left our family and community was shaken by Helene. We live in the upstate of SC. Both of our parents lost power and had minor damage to their homes/property. The day before we left, my mom looked at me with tears asking “if this was just a sign we shouldn’t go.” I told her absolutely not we are going we all need this trip. Boy am I glad we did not cancel the trip. Our 2 year old loved every moment of it. #disneyfamilyvacation #disneytrip #disneyworld #lemon8diarychallenge
