Sooo I’m sure y’all have seen this type of dark iPhone aesthetic on Instagram or TikTok photodumps! There’s a certain dark aesthetic that’s moody, muted and kinda cool I guess…

Before we get to the editing details, I’d just like to say that it helps to lower the exposure while you’re taking the photo for an enhanced effect! Also, the subject of the photo matters if you wanna create that whole cool vibe (what I’m saying is if you take a picture of your homework answer key or office desk it might not look as cool..)

Exposure -25

Brilliance -35

Highlights -5

Shadows +10

Contrast -5

Brightness -5

Saturation -5

Warmth +5

Sharpness +5

Of course, adjust according to your liking and lighting of each picture, don’t just stick to it without your own adjustments because it might not work for brighter pictures :)
