👹 A trip to hell in Beppu City, Japan!

On my recent trip to Japan, I had the chance to visit Beppu City and see the hells of Beppu. If you're in the area, you can't miss it!

🔥Umi Jigoku

I decided to but the one-hell tour ticket and just visited Umi Jigoku, the first one of the 7 in the path. The water is this amazing shade of blue that you just can't take your eyes off of, and there's steam rising up all around you💨 It's like something out of a sci-fi movie or a dream!

📝My Traveler’s Note

In my opinion, paying 2000 yen for the full hells tour wasn't really worth it as they all looked quite similar to me. Instead, I would recommend visiting the first one on the path, Umi Jigoku, which only costs 500 yen and also has a smaller version of the red pond.

However, if you have Beppu on your itinerary, definitely put Umi Jigoku on your destination list!
