The Spot 🌿

We chose to have our picnic at the Botanic Gardens, it is a lovely spot with lots of grass to sit on. We decided to sit by a pond there, sitting under a tree which gave us ample shade! It was a great choice as we were able to enjoy sunlight in our pictures, yet have a lovely time under the comfort of the shade as well. Ideally, I’ll recommend going on a weekday as it was really quiet and enjoyable.

The Food ✨

For a picnic, I would recommend these food items:

🥪Sandwich: Here we purchased sandwiches from SANDO, which were really easy to eat and really yummy. Specifically, the tonkatsu sandwich [$16.50] stood out!

🍰Cake: It is adorable in your pictures and is a yummy dessert to have after your mains, alongside that, it is relatively easy to eat! Do remember to bring utensils if needed.

☕️Coffee: An essential no matter what you’re doing. Here we had lattes from Maxi Coffee bar, which I really like. I will be sharing more about them in a future post!

Do get a picnic mat and basket, plus a huge bag to throw everything inside!
