Forgiving Myself for Letting Go

I’ve come to realize that one of the hardest things to do is forgive myself. Not for the things I did wrong, but for allowing someone to treat me like I was the easiest person to walk away from. I used to wonder what was wrong with me, thinking that if I had just been better, maybe they would’ve stayed. But I’ve learned that the problem wasn’t with me – it was in thinking that I wasn’t worthy of someone who wouldn’t take me for granted.

We all deserve someone who sees our worth and values our presence, not someone who’s ready to leave at the first sign of trouble. I’m finally letting go of the guilt and the hurt, learning to prioritize my own happiness and growth. Here’s to growth, healing, and knowing that we deserve better.
