when u love ur fruits/vegs so much till u wear them on ur head…jk I just thought they were cute LOL. And hair claws are such a lifesaver for bad hair days! Actually stumbled upon the honeydew clip in Korea but hesitated bc it was 24,000 won (~SGD$24), that’s kinda exp?? So I didn’t buy them but I KEPT THINKING about them ;___: Couldn't find the brand of claw clip online too.

Somehow typing honeydew claw clip on Shopee didn’t work HAHA. But I found this other Shopee store, Ahour.fashion, selling so many designs ($3-10+). Check out the last slide of this post for other non-fruit but cute designs~

But ofc the final store found, Betterform fashion, didn’t only have honeydew claw clips ($6.36) so I caved and bought the spring onion claw clip ($4.71) too 🤭

They’re both great, sturdy and ofc 10/10 weirdly cute! My only gripe is that the spring onion clip is narrow so I can only do the half updo style, whereas the honeydew one only has 6 ‘claws’ so if you have lots of hair u might need to twist it more tightly into the claw to make it more secure.

Usually I rotate between my two gold and silver hair claws but these ones are great for casual days or times where I wanna inject a bit of playful colour into my outfit~ Also because I have funky acrylic/resin earrings so these claw clips match those jewellery better (same level of casualness/material). Imo the more translucent styles are easier to pull off - they look less tacky/poorly made than some opaque claw clips.

Not sure if this creator is the OG quirky hair claw creator but some of china seller designs are definitely a copy of their style…so am kinda conflicted on buying those styles but there are many other cute options to choose from!
