Ramen was not my favourite food but after going to Japan more frequently in the recent years, I have a new found love for tsukemen!! I didnโt know what was tsukemen until i visited Japan last year. I believe many people would recommend the popular fuunji, but today I want to recommend this place call p. Itโs conveniently located in Tokyo Station!
Along this stretch, there are a lot of ramen restaurant. The first time we visited was at around 8pm and there was a queue but the wait isnโt too long. The second time was at around 4pm and there isnโt a queue. There were a lot of office workers who dine in this place.
We ordered the classic tomita recipe bowl but one is just the original with egg and a piece of meat while the other comes with a more meat. We also ordered the gyoza. I donโt quite rmb the exact price but the tsukemen ranges from 900yen to 1200yen.
1) Tsukemen
This was a perfect 10/10 for me. The noodles were made using wheat and they were thick and chewy. As I am someone who also like udon and ban mian, my preference for noodles are leaning towards the chewy and thick kind. If you are someone like me, you need to check out this place! The portion for the noodles are quite big. I came here twice for my recent visit (because I rly enjoyed it), the first time I ordered medium and the second time I ordered small, but tbh I canโt rly tell whatโs the difference.
After finishing your noodles, you can ask the staff to add warm water to mix with ur broth so that you can drink it like a soup.
2) Gyoza
The gyoza here is quite unique for me because Iโve never seen such a huge gyoza before. we ate one each and was already enough for us. The gyoza is worth ordering!!! We also ordered this both times ๐
Overall, this place is worth visiting!! I will visit here again when I visit Tokyo!
