FOOD REVS: Tried out Bizen’s Wagyu Steakhouse

🌞 We went on a SunDate and Chris chose a Wagyu Steakhouse we haven’t been to yet - details at the bottom!

💭 Here are our thoughts.

🗺️ The restaurant is tucked in the corner most part of the mall in Level 3. It felt like a treasure hunt 😂 . Look out for the signs and that will help. The view is worth the effort. They have ceiling to floor windows overlooking Orchard Road. You can even see MBS from the window seats!

🪑 They had enough seating when we visited - 2PM on a Sunday. Chairs and sofa were comfy with wide tables - something we don’t expect from a Japanese restaurant.

🥘 Here’s what we ordered:

Appetizers:

🦪 Asari No Sakamushi - $10.50 - Japanese Clams steamed in Sake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

•Perfectly seasoned and huge portion

🐷 Arabiki Pork Sausage - $4.9 - Baby Sausages - Deliciously paired with mustard ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mains:

🍝 Wagyu Beef Bolognese - $15.9 - Huge portion! Flavorful Beef Sauce and Al Dente Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🥩 Sirlion Steak (150g) - $32.9 - Asked for medium well and was cooked to perfection! It was tender, juicy and seasoned well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Steak sides:

🧀 Mac and Cheese - ⭐️ - Overcooked macaroni with what tasted like over the counter cheese and bacon bits. Felt like a boxed Mac and cheese

🥔 Potato Salad - ⭐️⭐️ - Huge chunks of potatoes that needs to be sliced smaller. It was hard to bite. The sauce was delicious though!

Drinks:

🍋 Homemade Iced Lemon Tea - ⭐️⭐️ - $2.9 - Nothing special, just your regular Iced Lemon Tea.
