As a uni student, i understand the struggles of juggling between school and a job. Trying to maintain your grades while still working your ass off for some earnings…🫠

So, here are some banks & apps that i trust and love as a student. They help me to maximise my savings while having some passive income on the side!

Trust card

- A partnership between standard chartered & fairprice group so it is reliable

- Maintain a minimum of 5 transaction per month for an interest rate of 2% per month which is more than what most banking chains provide

- More transactions > more points > more vouchers and deals!

- Vouchers are mostly on NTUC vouchers which is super worth.

Youtrip

- Mainly use it for travelling

- Youtrip does it’s best work in the conversion rate

- Helps me a lot in keeping track of my spendings overseas and giving me the most accurate conversion

Webull

- A stock investment app

- If you have 0 knowledge in stocks, it’s okay, me too. Cause Webull has this promotion going on where if you sign up, deposit ANY amount (as low as $0.01) you can get 3 FREE stocks! - Who doesn’t love cashback? I use this app whenever i’m online shopping AND travelling

- Whether i’m looking for a tourist attraction or activities overseas, Shopback has partnerships with platforms like Klook / Trip.com which allows you to book your activities and gain cashback! Definitely super super worth!

All in all, there’s only so much we can do as a student who doesn’t have any background knowledge in investments / entrepreneurship etc. 🥲 These are just some of the easiest ways i save / gain my earnings so i can shop and travel without any worries in damaging my bank account.
