DONT GO to this highly raved kaya toast place 🍞🥲

i've seen so many GOOD reviews about this place so i got to try it !! however, i was so so DISAPPOINTED...

what i got:

🍞kaya toast set ($5.20)

kaya was not too sweet and has a strong coconut taste & the bread was super soft! however, as it is known for its charcoal-toasted buns, my buns weren’t toasted much :( & i personally prefer the traditional crispy and soft bread instead

🥚 soft boiled eggs

one egg was more cooked than the other :/ & tasted like every other soft boiled eggs !

☕️ teh c kosong

tasted normal, can get at any coffee shop

they do sell many other breads and tarts as well THEY LOOK YUMMY but i didn’t have enough stomach space for it :(

overall, i think this place is overhyped or maybe the timing i went (2pm) was wrong…. i’ll just stick to yakun for now…

will be going for more kaya toast adventures!! let me know where’s your favourite place for kaya toast 🤤
